Name: Nadia Aboulhosn

What do you do?: Live, breathe, and dream fashion; progress, and stay focused on my dreams is what I do. I also fashion blog and shop, of course.

What informs/inspires your style?: The 80’s is a huge inspiration for my style. New York itself inspires me too!

All-time number one favorite thing to wear: It’s a draw between statement necklaces and huge shoulder pads. They both make such bold statements. The broad shoulders and the androgynous look does it for me!

What’s something you’ve been thinking about a lot lately?: Moving to NY to start focusing solely on fashion and moving up in the industry. How I can take my fashion to the next level. I’m a perfectionist. I never feel like things are good enough so I always strive for more.

Current non-fashion obsession: Can I list all of them? They wont all fit so I’ll stick with cupcakes…and Bradley Cooper.

What helps you feel confidence about your body, style, and general sense of self?: The way I dress myself keeps me confident about my body. Everything else is really a mental process. I always keep in mind to stay strong, whether it’s something small or something life changing. I always remind myself of the person I am, what I want from myself and out of life. Staying positive and surrounding myself with positive people helps me stay on track. Everything is all within yourself. Keep that in mind!

What’s it mean to be a Broad?: It means a lot to be a Broad. Strong, confident, positive, and stylish are all characteristics I strive to be, and knowing my followers can see these characteristics in me is greatly appreciated and satisfying. Thank you Roxy and Caroline. You two are amazing!
